Oldhall Energy Recovery Facility launches liaison committee

The Oldhall Energy Recovery Facility project team is seeking community representatives to join a liaison committee for its ongoing project at the Oldhall Industrial Estate, Irvine.

The committee will gather feedback and opinions from the local community, as well as provide updates during the construction and subsequent commissioning phases of the project. It will meet on a regular basis with the aim of ensuring the project proceeds with minimal impact and disruption.

Project Manager, Alberto Andres, said:

“The Local Liaison Committee will provide an essential forum for the project team to work with the local community. It will meet on a regular basis to discuss what is happening on the project, as well as address any areas of concern.

“Although the construction works are expected to cause very little disruption, we are keen to meet representatives of the local community on a regular basis to answer any questions, listen to feedback and keep people informed of progress.”

The committee will meet once a quarter, although occasionally there may be extra meetings when the need arises. Places are limited so those interested in joining are asked to email info@oldhallenergy.co.uk to request an application form.

The deadline for responses is Monday 31st October and the first meeting will take place later this year.
